Be Green Carpet Cleaning is committed to your satisfaction. As part of our Standard Maintenance Cleaning Service, we include a comprehensive 30-day guarantee. This guarantee ensures that if regular household stains (from food and drink spills or normal wear) reappear, your Service Provider will return to retreat the affected areas at no additional cost. Jobs that show contamination from pet stains, bodily fluids (urine, feces, blood, etc.), mold, or mildew are NOT covered unless the recommended treatment is added to enhance the guarantee and ensure proper removal. Permanently damaged areas are NOT covered.

Conditions Covered by the Service Guarantee

Wicking: Sometimes, food and drink stains that have penetrated deep into the carpet padding may resurface following an initial cleaning. This phenomenon, known as wicking, occurs as the carpet dries and substances from the pad wick up to the surface again.

Drying Conditions: Humidity and temperature can affect drying times and the effectiveness of the initial treatment. If adverse conditions prevent the treated area from drying properly, another cleaning may be necessary.

Additional Treatment to Enhance the Service Guarantee for Contamination

Jobs that show contamination from pet stains, bodily fluids (urine, feces, blood, etc.), mold, or mildew are NOT covered unless the recommended treatment is added to ensure proper removal. If contamination is found during the pre-cleaning inspection (needs analysis), your Service Provider will determine a specific cleaning protocol to properly treat the affected areas. If you choose to purchase the additional recommended treatment, the Service Guarantee will be enhanced to cover the found contamination.

Service Provider’s Role

Your Service Provider will perform a pre-cleaning needs analysis to uncover problem areas or contamination. They will recommend the most effective Service Plan tailored to your needs. If, after the recommended treatment is applied and the drying period has concluded, you still notice a problem, simply contact us within 30 days of your cleaning. Your Service Provider will return to retreat these areas.

Additional Considerations for Contamination:

• Increased Product Usage: A greater amount of product may be necessary for severe contamination issues. This is crucial for effectively penetrating deep-set stains and odors. Some homes may have hundreds of pet spots, while others may have just one or two. The cost to treat these homes will vary significantly.
• Odor Intensification: Please be aware that adding additional moisture can temporarily increase the severity of odors. The strongest smell is typically noticeable approximately 24 – 48 hours after the initial treatment, as the bacteria is being broken down.
• Delay in Encapsulation Crystallization: The added moisture from increased product use will delay the encapsulation crystallization process, which normally takes 48 hours. In cases of heavy application, this process may be extended.
• Waiting Period Before Retreatment: To ensure the effectiveness of the initial treatment and to allow for complete drying, it is recommended to wait seven days before any retreatment is performed. This waiting period allows the crystallization process to be completed, ensuring that the retreatment (if still necessary) is as effective as possible.
